University of Edinburgh Solar Farm
FES Support Services have been working alongside The University of Edinburgh to deliver a 5000 PV panel installation at Easter Bush Campus.
The ground-mounted solar farm is expected to generate 1,400,000 kWh annually and save an estimated £200,000 per year in electricity costs. When finished the installation will provide 15% of Easter Bush Campus’ electricity consumption.
FES has been deeply involved with the recent development of the campus with the placement of updated electrical infrastructure for the Easter Bush Campus Development, a 20-year plan by the University of Edinburgh to become carbon-neutral by 2040.
