Being a family-owned business ourselves, we appreciate family values and not more so at our Moda site in Edinburgh, where we have three generations of the one family all working together on the one site. The Moda site is a new build apartment block, built to a high specification, in the heart of Edinburgh.
Grandpa Craig Foley started with FES Group back in 2001 and is currently working on the Moda site as a Grade 1 foreman. Craig’s two sons, Joe and Don are also working on site. Joe Foley is a Project Manager and Don Foley is a site agent. Both Joe and Don did their electrical apprenticeships with FES. Don’s son, Tyler Foley, is now a second-year electrical apprentice.
FES Group prides itself on maintaining strong family values, with a commitment to, wherever possible, promoting and developing talent from within the company.
Steven Laird, Operations Director said:
“As a family-run business, our values and ethos on how we treat our people are at the core of everything we do. I myself started as an apprentice with FES. I’m delighted to have three generations of the Foley family working on the Moda site. Craig leads by example and has instilled an ‘old school’ work ethic in his family who are all hardworking, honest and reliable members of the team.”
