FES assists charity The Yard

FES was happy to assist The Yard with the installation of outdoor lighting in their Dundee premises.

In collaboration with Hub East Central Scotland, FES donated and installed new outdoor lighting to the charities outdoor playground, while Traffic Group Signals provided a set of custom-made, portable traffic lights for the playground.

FES always seeks to engage with local communities and organisations as part of our community benefits commitments, and we were delighted to be able to assist The Yard in lighting up their facility and helping out an integral part of the Dundee community during this difficult period.

Gill Thomson, service development manager at The Yard, told the Evening Telegraph: “We are absolutely delighted and extremely grateful for these kind donations which will quite literally light up The Yard in the weeks and months ahead.

“The traffic lights will also allow us to teach children about the importance of road safety as many of the young people we support don’t have these skills, nor would it be easy to teach them out and about in everyday life.”
