The artwork is a memorial wall to those who have donated organs.

The theme of the artwork is to express gratitude for the giving of life to others. For donors’ families and recipients, the hope is that it will provide a place of memorial; for the public it will act as a reminder of the value of organ and tissue donation, and it will also have a presence as a contemporary artwork on its own expressive terms.

Congratulations to students from the Prince’s Trust https://www.fes-group.co.uk/congratulations-to-students-from-the-princes-trust/ Mon, 12 Aug 2024 09:34:55 +0000 https://www.fes-group.co.uk/?p=241081 Congratulations to students from the Prince’s Trust programme who recently graduated from the Get into Electrical Installation course, following a 2-week work placement with FES Group.

Pictured left to right are: Neil Smith (FES Group), Bijan Sarafraz, Declan Hughes, Erin Howell, Colin Johnston and George Cameron (FES Group).

All the participants attended our D2 Grids Project in Dalmarnock, in partnership with Clyde Gateway, for two weeks work experience. In that time, they took part in a Risk Assessment workshop where they had to try and compile their own Risk Assessment for some of the tasks they took part in on site. These were: safely manoeuvring 5 no. Tesla batteries into position for the solar PV farm, rewiring of the site welfare, weed control barrier inside the solar PV farm to stop weed growth and various cleaning and tidying duties in the site and site cabins. They also helped with and shadowed our controls partner, Kelvin Controls, in the wiring and commissioning of various parts of plant within the new Energy Centre.
