FES as a One Carbon World accredited partner and triple-gold participant in the United Nations Climate Neutral Now Initiative, was delighted to participate in the One Carbon World “How can your business save our planet?” session on 8th November as part of the OCW programme of events during COP26.
The event was a call to action for all businesses to consider their current position in terms of sustainability, and the journey they will need to take to achieve net zero. With themes of leadership, collaboration and innovation, the event included videos and presentations on how the panellists’ companies were approaching their own net zero journey.
FES Operations Director, Graham O’Connell described steps undertaken by FES to date, and outlined the initiatives the company have taken to date to achieve the One Carbon World Carbon Neutral International Standard and their forward strategy to continue to reduce their Carbon footprint.
