Break the Cycle

September 12, 2022

On Sunday 4th September, a team from FES Group took on Social Bite’s Break the Cycle Ultimate Challenge by cycling 60 miles from Glasgow to Edinburgh.  The FES peloton consisted of Thomas Butler, Pete McFerran, Matthew Carroll, Neil McGregor, Martin Abercromby and Kevin McCormack.  They were joined by Olympic legend Sir Chris Hoy and former Rugby Union star Al Kellock.

This year’s Break the Cycle will raise vital funds to expand the innovative work of Social Bite in providing homes, jobs, and food.  We wholeheartedly support Social Bite in their belief that:

  • everyone deserves a safe place to call home
  • a job can be truly transformative for someone who has experienced homelessness
  • food is one of the most powerful engagement tools to help signpost people to access the support needed

We’re delighted to have surpassed our original fundraising target and to currently be placed 5th on the Teams leader board.  However, there is still time to contribute so we would be grateful if you could support our fundraising with a donation to this page:

Together with your support, we can help break the cycle of homelessness.
