FES FM has been awarded the contract for the provision of Hard FM Services to Aberdeenshire Council. The contract provides Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance as part of the Council’s overarching Hard FM strategy. FES FM has delivered these services to the Council since 2017 and following a competitive tender, has been reappointed for a second term which will run from 2022 – 2027.
This contract covers ~580 Operational Properties, ~11,600 Social Housing properties and ~1,500 units across 62 Sheltered Housing schemes over a geography of 6,313km2, delivering ~30,000 PPM tasks and ~22,000 reactive calls pa
Whilst delivering this key contract, FES FM prioritises the provision of additional social value. Through this contract FES FM employs 110 operatives from the local area and actively engages with the local supply chain with a spend of over £4.5M pa. across ~ 50 SMEs with “AB” postcodes. FES FM has provided 10 apprenticeships and 35 work experience placements for pupils from local schools.
